Problem: the “bamboo” doesnt totally cover the back of the machines, there is an absurd amount of relatively unusable counter space on the inside of the bamboo.

Solution: well, does it really matter that you can kind of see through them? there are spaces and it is kind of just an illusion after all.  move the bamboo back from the front edge of the counter…gives people space to fix coffee in the front and makes better use of total counter space.

*side note:  nice fake coffee making chris.

Problem:  our sweet rotating shelves need more space between shelves, some way for things to not fall off, and some way to block the view from the customers into the dirty store room.

Solution:  space out the shelves more, add some sides/walls/lip to the shelves to aid in keeping things steady, keep the stock room clean (???)…still working on that one.

Problem:  curved countertop (or space where it should be) takes up way too much room.

Solution:  create a similar overhang/dropoff as pickup area.

so i realized that most people probably dont even know what it means to model something in solidworks so this is a picture of what ive been working on…it is espresso-te barista station with the changes we noticed needed to be made from our full scale model.

yep its 5 in the a.m. and everyone is still here working.  the rotating shelves are semi-in though, i think we are going to get the actual shelves in place and then call it a day … or a morning.  it took a while to get the two sides level, but i think its going to turn out pretty cool looking and effective.
