solidwork it out (oooh sorry that was lame)
hey there delayed post…sorry about that. its been a solidworks party the last couple of days.

there is so much left to do, yet somehow i feel very useless. we dont have all of the equipment for the things i know how to do (hot glue “bamboo”, make machine shapes) and i dont know how to do what can be done now (rig up pulleys, put siding on the front of the counter). useless. from kate.
the winds they are a changing
get it? its a double meaning because it is storming pretty badly outside and things are changing in here. the lazy susan is out! turns out when we really look at the size of the machines and the size of the counters and the fact that the wall would have to be unbelievably thick we realize that our concept would really just waste valuable countertop space rather than save it. lesson learned.
The Storm
Storm of the century is about to hit the construction site and I almost fell asleep on the way over here. Thing is though, there is a storm in here already in the form of me so the forecast is really efficient work. Let’s get crackin’!

It has come and gone for the second night and we’re still here…ugh
A nail in the eye
Kate just shot herself in the eye with the nail gun, well it was close. Anyway she is now wearing protective eye wear. She was also wondering why the nails she was shooting into the boards were bending and not going in straight, only to find out that the nails were in the gun backwards. One more step to becoming pro’s.
Dimensions
You would think because two things have the same exact dimensions they would line up and fit perfectly, but it is not so. Seems like every job as to be done twice.
